相模湖を横目に歩いていく。漕艇部（そうていぶ）の倉庫では学生がボートのメンテナンスをしている。さらに先にゆくと、平成の時代によく遊んだゲームが並んでいるではないか。どれも現役で動いている。エアホッケーを見たのはいつぶりだろうか？不義な気持ちになりながらさらに奥へ進み、沈みゆく日を眺めながら一服。
